We believe in the power of creating safe spaces for reflection and introspection of our whirlwind experience as healthcare workers.
We rarely have moments on the job to pause and process what actually happens day to day because so much happens in any given day
We wanted to create an opportunity to let those stories that we have been carrying around, the ones we know about and those we don’t, have a space to come out.
We are taking what we have learned from our full day in person retreats in Bay Area and bringing it in a shortened format to Los Angeles. We look forward to seeing you there!

We are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone! Please review our solidarity and inclusivity commitments as well as our safe space values for our sessions.
We also care deeply about ensuring our event is accessible to folks across healthcare specialties. We offered tiered pricing and scholarships are available if price is still a barrier.
Please choose the pricing that is most comfortable for you!

This retreat is for any healthcare worker who works within the healthcare system (whether in the clinic, hospital, private practice, community, etc!) AND who care deeply about creating space to tend to their own well-being.
To ensure this retreat is a safe and inclusive space, we ask all attendees to review our inclusivity commitments and safe space values prior to joining. If you have any commitments you’d like us to add, please let us know!
-
We offer tiered pricing to ensure that all participants are able to attend regardless of financial ability. We ask for those who have the ability to support the attendance of others plan to choose the general admission or sponsorship tickets.
-
This retreat will be an opportunity to pause and breathe together. Our morning will be filled with opportunities to connect with each other and engage in expressive art practices
-
This retreat will NOT be focused on productivity and “doing”. Instead, we will be spending time enjoying and appreciate our own and each other’s presence. However we show up is welcome in this space.
-
Creating a safe space for us to rest with each other is very important to us. We will continue to adapt these protocols pending the current infection/surge rates locally and nationally.
-
The retreat will be held at St. Mary’s Palm church in Culver City. We partner with different organizations throughout Los Angeles who are committed to anti-racism and LGBTQ+ allyship with their space
-
We strongly believe in compensating people for their time and expertise. We chose this pricing model to ensure we adequately compensate all of those who have helped us develop this event as well as build sustainability into our programming.
We chose a tiered model to allow participants to pay whatever feels most comfortable to them within their budgetary constraints.
We do not want price to be a limiting factor for anyone and are happy to work with anyone further who is interested in attending. We offer Sponsorship admission to subsidize the trainee fee as well as make funds available for those excluded by financial constraints. We are thankful to each attendee who co-creates an equitable community together through sponsorship.

You are absolutely right. Your time is precious and we want to make sure this retreat is a good fit for you! At Introspective Spaces, we truly believe in the healing power of rest and community. Gathering in person is a gift and a privilege - to do so with other healthcare workers is even more so. Our deepest wish for this gathering is for everyone who attends to feel truly welcome, loved, and seen and to feel a sense of belonging and connection. In the past we have provided CE for our events. We are currently changing our CE provider and are uncertain at this time if we will be able to secure CE sponsorship in time for the event. We really hope so because we know it often assists with reimbursement for attending our events. Thank you for your patience!

We will be meeting in the community space of a local Episcopal church. We acknowledge that being in a church setting may bring up past harms from the church. The church we will be meeting in is an affirming church open to all and in line with the values of Introspective Spaces. Secondly, there are three steps to enter the bathroom at this location. We apologize for the accessibility issue and hope we can plan ahead for any folks for whom this may be a barrie.
